Clarifying the concept of The Fellowship Project

Chad

Since revealing this project I have been asked a number of really great questions about The Fellowship Project.

The first is the description of the project. While you are reading this, please keep in mind that this is the “first draft”, the grand picture of what we want the project to look like. However, we are open do doing it any number of different ways and on any scale. We are not attached to the method we use, merely accomplishing the result of what we are doing. Depending on funding, logistics and support we may scale it or change it. Who am I kidding, we’re not going to let any reason hold us back from accomplishing our goal! So here it is…

We want to bring a group of school aged youth from around the world together, over the course of a year, ingrain the core concepts and beliefs that are the building blocks of successful and enlightened human beings.

How will we do this?

Well, through all of the different ways we have found that have fundamentally changed us in a positive way.

Things like personal development “workshops” such as “Discover Your Sacred Gifts” and “Illumination Intensive“, through conversations with great leaders & visionaries, taking part in experiential wilderness expeditions, learning new languages, by participating in philanthropic causes and events like caring for the sick, and “Habitat for Humanity“, by learning to integrate with and adopt other cultures, by learning the habits and mindsets that will make them successful, by traveling the world and successfully navigating themselves from one place to another through various means, through collaboratively based projects and experiences, by gaining the ability to flourish in any environment and under any circumstances to achieve their goals, through being exposed to the concepts of science and philosophy, art and history, and finally by being pushed to their mental physical and emotional limits to discover that there are no limits but those we impose on our selves.

The possibilities are endless. Who knows, if this project continues beyond it’s pilot project stage, we may find all kinds of new and exciting way to open the minds and hearts of youth and empower them to grow, love and achieve beyond what we believe is possible.

Our purpose is not merely to introduce and learn, but to ingrain through ongoing practise, the concepts of self belief, understanding, trust, love, acceptance, community, empowerment, service & leadership.

Because they no longer observe the same personal self doubt and social red tape, they will be able to accomplish things far faster and more efficiently then we ever thought possible.

This experience will allow them to return to their home countries, cities and villages with a sense of life long purpose, love for their planet, a connection to their global family and the conviction to live an engaged life to do their part in creating a better world for their generation and generations to come.

That is our goal. To create a better future, by creating better humans, naturally.

The next major step.

Chad

The one of the projects core foundations is founded from an African proverb that says: “It takes a village to raise a child.”.  As our world becomes more of a global village, it will take people from all over the world to raise our children in a new way to create a better future.

Having that in mind, I know I cannot fulfill this project’s purpose alone. So I am asking for your help.

The second step to making this project a reality is to bring together a group of people to become the project’s architects. These people will be responsible for the first major stage of the project. They’ll come together to create the projects goals and specifics some of which are are listed below.

-Elaborate and detail the projects core values and foundations so that we are clear what we wish to accomplish and have a way to measure our effectiveness.

-Outline the project timeline and create a list of the potentials trainers, speakers events, and experiences that the kids will have based on the projects core values and foundations.

-Identify the process, procedures and legalities of bringing together a group of kids from around the world and have them travel from country to country.

-Set up a way for anyone to donate funds online.

-Set up the banking and funds transfer protocol.

-Create a PR/Marketing strategy & presentation.

-Identify the means we will use to select the first group of kids.

-Come up with a number of potential companies and donors to begin to reach out to for financial support .

-Begin translating our website into as many languages as possible.

…just to name a few.

After we complete this stage of the project, we will look into finding the group that will lead the execution and logistics of the program.

If you posses the skills to complete these objective and you want to help or know of someone who can. Please email me by clicking here. Please be aware that you WILL be called upon to grow your self and become more open yourself. It is imperative that the group who leads this project to exemplify the heart of the program, it’s core values, and teachings.

If you have questions and comments please pose them below. We couldn’t possibly think of everything and we’d love to hear your comments, thoughts and suggestions. If you’d like to get involved please email me by clicking here.

If you feel the need/want to help even though you don’t find that you can do so by any of the above tasks. There is always a need to get the message out there. Please “Like” our Facebook page and share the posts as they come up, Follow us and retweet our tweets on twitter

A new beginning..

admin

Recently I participated in a workshop called “Your Sacred Gifts”. This is a workshop that is designed to uncover which of the 24 gifts you have within your being and how you can use them for the benefit of others. I could not have imagined what would come from knowing what these “gifts” are. However, now that I know, I feel compelled to use those gifts to accomplish one of my life long goals “to fundamentally change the way we as humans live our lives so that we can live a more positive, engaged and enlightened life. A life of purpose, contribution, and love for our human sisters and brothers.”

The past few years I have spent much of my time working in the personal development industry and it has been a great experience however I have not seen as much of impact on our world as I want and since it is easier to start with a “clean slate” it just seemed natural to do more work with kids. Especially considering throughout my entire adult life I have work with or around kids. Therefore as I considered my own gifts and talents the frame work of this new project centred around kids began to take shape. In fact I spent most of the second morning absorbed in thought about what this would look like and how I could make it come to life, that is until I told my new partner Kristin about what I was thinking. The look on her face was unbelievably comforting as it seemed that I had struck a cord in her and from that moment I knew WE were on to something. By the end of the weekend we had discussed many aspects of the project and even came up with a name, “The Fellowship Project”.

The projects initial goal is to bring together a group of school age youth from all over the world for an extended period.  During this time they will engrain the concepts of self belief, understanding, acceptance, community, empowerment & leadership. This experience will allow them to return home with a sense of life long purpose, love for their planet, a connection to their global family and the conviction to live an engaged life to help create a better world for their generation and generations to come.

We are looking for people who are willing to contribute their time, expertise and or funds to help kids grow. If you are or know someone who is a leader in the field of early childhood education and development, an international customs and immigrations lawyer, or a documentary video crew…. then get in touch with us via email at info@thefellowshipproject.com.

Thank you for reading and please let us know your thoughts, and if you feel like it, retweet, post this on FB or just tell someone. We can use all the help we can get.

Some inspiring words from a dear friend that sums up this post nicely:

“Individually, and collectively, we can raise the consciousness of the people of this planet, so that each of us will be viewed as members of the same family, who are here to claim their birthright of unconditional love and oneness. If we don’t do it, who will?” - Elizabeth Cunha

Trust

“Trust is the basis of harmony.” – His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

and therefore I would like to add “Trust” to the core concepts of our program.
